Features: "The Tourism Culture of the Yangtze Three Gorges" is a completely new subject for us, with no existing ideas to follow or ready-made models to apply. Therefore, we took the initiative and relied on the collective wisdom and strength to construct the theoretical framework presented here. The final form of our research findings is an academic monograph with 250,000 words, divided into 8 chapters and 38 sections. Chapter 1, Introduction, focuses on resolving fundamental theoretical issues in the study of Three Gorges tourism culture, including the definition and research objects of Three Gorges tourism culture, the classification, main content, and characteristics of Three Gorges tourism; Chapter 2 primarily organizes the historical and contemporary tourism practices of humans in the Three Gorges region, providing a broad overview of the historical origins and developmental context of Three Gorges tourism; Chapters 3 and 4 introduce the natural tourism resources and cultural landscape resources of the Three Gorges region from multiple perspectives and in a concise manner; Chapter 5 conducts a scientific, objective, and comprehensive evaluation of the tourism resources, uncovering the spiritual essence of Three Gorges tourism culture and revealing its aesthetic value; Chapter 6 focuses on exploring the development and protection of the main and secondary tourism resources of the Yangtze Three Gorges; Chapter 7 introduces the construction of cultural and recreational facilities, tourism transportation, hotels and accommodations, shopping and dining, and other tourism supporting facilities in the Three Gorges region; The final chapter (Chapter 8) conducts a forward-looking study of the future tourism in the Three Gorges, particularly the tourism in the Three Gorges after the completion of the Three Gorges Water Conservancy Project, and envisions its promising prospects.
