How should multiple small prostate stones be treated?

Patient's question:

Yesterday I went to the hospital for a check-up. The ultrasound revealed that the size of my prostate was normal (3.92.82.9). Multiple strong echoes were observed at the junction of the inner and outer lines, arranged in a fox-like pattern, with one measuring 0.4 cm. The diagnosis was multiple small stones in the prostate, suspected of being calculi. I asked the doctor how to treat this condition and what precautions to take. Additionally, the doctor mentioned that I have kidney ptosis, and I am currently taking traditional Chinese medicine. I don’t know how to cure this condition. Thank you. Medical history: In May, I was diagnosed with prostatitis, and I am now basically recovered.

Doctor's answer:

When the current prostate stone is combined with other conditions or symptoms, treatment should be administered. For patients with chronic prostatitis or seminal vesiculitis accompanied by symptoms but without severe infection, symptomatic treatment should be the primary approach. Prostate massage and antibiotics can be used to control symptoms, combined with hot Sitz baths, urinary tract spasmolytics, etc., to alleviate posterior urethral irritation symptoms. Regular X-ray follow-ups should be conducted to monitor changes in the size of the stones.
For patients with concomitant benign prostatic hyperplasia, transurethral resection of the prostate can be performed, with the aim of as much stone removal as possible. If necessary, open surgery may be required for stone removal or complete prostatectomy.
