Features: The Party History Materials of the C.P.C. was established in 1982 as a serial book series co-sponsored by the Research Office of the Party History of the C.P.C. and the Central Archives. It not only regularly publishes archival materials held by the Central Archives but also introduces newly released archives from abroad and publishes thematic materials collected and compiled by senior scholars. Furthermore, it has made significant contributions in providing memoirs and oral histories of high-ranking leaders of the Party and the state. From one perspective, it has fulfilled its responsibility in advancing the study of the Party's history, strengthening the discipline of Party history, and improving the work of providing policy advice and talent cultivation, receiving attention from the academic community and praise from readers. Over the years, this series has published 84 issues, totaling nearly 15 million words. More than 100 scholars, editors, and archivists have participated in this work. The series has prominently featured the first public release of speeches, writings, and manuscripts of leaders such as Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, Liu Shaoqi, Zhu De, Ren Bishi, Chen Yun, and Deng Xiaoping, as well as important historical documents of the Central Committee of the Party during the revolutionary war era. It has also published hundreds of memoirs and oral histories by leaders such as Qu Qiubai, Dong Biwu, Lin Boqu, Wu Yuzhang, and Li Weihan. These memoirs and oral histories provide many previously unknown historical details, serving as an important supplement to the Party's historical documents.
