After all, the practice of the painter is a unique domain. The unique insights it offers allow the painter, beyond the self-evidence of painting, to occasionally open up new perspectives when speaking about it. The relationship between phenomenological thought and phenomenological creation is, in general, the relationship between philosophy and art. Traditionally, we have been inclined to discuss this issue from a philosophical perspective, which may not be sufficient. This book should offer an alternative line of thought: understanding the relationship between philosophy and art from an artistic perspective. The concrete representation painting presented in this book, which has a phenomenological inclination, cannot be said to be a rigorous and solid art school but rather a creative exploration in the field of modern art—namely, the possibility of creation.
