Features: From the perspectives of cultural studies and folklore, the study of the Book of Songs and the Songs of Chu has achieved significant results, though it is still in its early stages and often exhibits biases. Examining the Book of Songs and the Songs of Chu through the lens of poetic aesthetics, although an old topic, has actually been done far too little. These issues are not only commonly encountered when reading and appreciating the Book of Songs and the Songs of Chu, but also require in-depth exploration for academic research. This book, instead, establishes sections such as "Distinguishing Falsehoods in Traditional Views," "The Tradition of the Book of Songs and the Songs of Chu," "Aesthetic Perspectives on the Book of Songs and the Songs of Chu," "Clarifying the True Meaning of the Book of Songs," and "Analyzing Doubts in Qu Yuan's Works," in order to join fellow scholars who are passionate about the study of the Book of Songs and the Songs of Chu and are willing to embrace poverty and solitude. The aim is to address the shortcomings in previous studies of the Book of Songs and the Songs of Chu and elevate the fields of Book of Songs studies and Songs of Chu studies to a new level. However, limited by my knowledge, I may not fully achieve this goal. I sincerely hope that experts will kindly offer their guidance.
