Publish Date: 2004-01-01
Features: This is a profound and thought-provoking masterpiece exploring the evil in human nature. The baffling and captivating case studies, combined with original, insightful, and meticulous analysis, reveal the hidden evil in human nature. The author candidly points out the dark side of human nature, especially using his love-hate dissecting knife to expose the concealed evil hidden beneath daily life: base motives hidden behind lies, control and enslavement in marital relationships, the absolute authoritarian authority parents have over their children, and the loneliness of narcissism and self-isolation. The author also accurately identifies the root causes of evil in human nature: the pathological upbringing in childhood, the seemingly ordinary sins of parents or society, genetic factors, and the appalling collective evil.
What is rare is that the author provides scientific methods to treat the evil in human nature: psychoanalysis of the unconscious, psychological, moral, and religious care, as well as supervision of family and social responsibilities. The author's firsthand description of the exorcism process against the possessed, along with his scientific explanations, is highly engaging. After reading the entire book, we are all reminded of the author's urgent call in the book: to conquer the evil in human nature with the great and boundless love of humanity!
