The study of the relationship between human behavior and the social environment is one of the important foundations of the social work field. To effectively pursue their work, social workers must conduct scientific research on the behavioral changes resulting from changes in the social environment. This book consists of ten chapters: Chapter 1 introduces the basic concepts, relationships, and research methods of human behavior and the social environment; Chapter 2 introduces the basic theories of human behavior; Chapters 3 to 10, arranged according to important life stages, respectively introduce the relationship between fetal development, infant behavior, preschooler behavior, school-age child behavior, adolescent behavior, young adult behavior, adult behavior, and elderly behavior with the social environment. This book can be used as a textbook for social work majors in universities and also as a reference for professionals engaged in social work management and practice.
