Features: The Jingpo ethnic group is a nation with a long history, known for its diligence and wisdom, and is a member of the great family of nationalities in our motherland. Throughout the long process of their national development, the Jingpo people have created a splendid history and culture, forging the spirit of their nation. This history and culture, as well as the spirit of the Jingpo people, have been the powerful driving force behind their continuous growth and development over thousands of years. They will also serve as a strong spiritual force guiding the Jingpo people to carry forward their legacy and promote the political, economic, cultural, and social progress of their nation in the future.
The Jingpo culture has a long and rich heritage, with its own unique characteristics. It records the historical process of social production and the evolution of lifestyles. The Jingpo people are an open-minded and exploratory nation, adept at embracing new things. Historically, as part of the Diqiang ethnic group, the Jingpo people migrated from north to south. Beyond the many irresistible objective factors, their migration also reflects the deeper essence of a nation's courage to explore and discover the world. On the other hand, the Jingpo people are skilled at absorbing beneficial elements from others' social lives and creatively applying them. For example, modern Jingpo language contains many loanwords from different countries and ethnic groups, a result of social interaction and exchange. Through these exchanges, they have enriched and developed their social lives and culture. However, objectively speaking, due to historical and social reasons, the Jingpo people have predominantly lived in border areas and mountainous regions, where transportation is poor, external exchanges are limited, and production and living conditions are subpar. They have long been in a state of economic and cultural underdevelopment.
In the long social process, the Jingpo people's socioeconomic development has, overall, remained largely in a natural economic state, with very little social commodity content in their economic lives.
