After World War II, Western economics gradually divided political economy (theoretical economics) into two main parts: microeconomics and macroeconomics. Macroeconomics examines the economic operation of an entire society, differing from microeconomics, which focuses on the behavior of individual economic entities. This book is the macroeconomics part of the "Modern Western Economics" published by our press. It is divided into six parts and twenty-two chapters, covering macroeconomic basic concepts and measurement, static equilibrium models of national income determination, monetary theory and monetary policy, post-Keynesian macroeconomics, dynamic economics, and international economics. The second edition, in addition to textual and scientific revisions, has added content such as the golden rule. At the same time, the hardcover versions of the microeconomics and macroeconomics parts will be published separately to meet the needs of readers at all levels.
