Features: The Chinese edition of the Complete Works of Aristotle consists of ten volumes, including all 48 extant works of Aristotle discovered so far, along with some fragments. It is the first complete works of a Western classical philosopher to enter China in over a century, and it is also one of the few modern translations of the Complete Works of Aristotle in languages other than German, English, French, and Japanese. Based on the standard edition of the Berlin Royal Academy, it is directly translated from Greek to Chinese, with page numbering strictly following international conventions. In 1998, it won the First Prize of the Second Outstanding Research Achievement Award in Humanities and Social Sciences from the Ministry of Education, and in 1999, it received the First Prize of the National Social Science Fund Project and the Fourth National Book Award.
