Hegel's Logic, commonly referred to as the "Great Logic" to distinguish it from the "Small Logic" (a part of The System of Philosophy), is divided into three sections: "On Being," "On Essence," and "On Concept." The first two sections, collectively known as "Objective Logic," were published in 1812 and 1813, respectively, while the third section, "Subjective Logic," was published in 1816. After the publication of all three sections, Hegel revised the work but only completed the revision of the "On Being" section.
There are three complete editions of Hegel's works: the Michler edition, the Gro?mann edition, and the Lason edition. This Chinese translation follows the Lason edition's arrangement, with "On Being" as the first volume and "On Essence" and "On Concept" as the second volume. The translation primarily relies on the Lason edition while also referencing the Gro?mann edition.
