Features: Real-life is posing severe challenges to us, and ethnic and religious issues are increasingly demonstrating their particular importance and unique complexity. They are linked to international political and cultural exchanges, ethnic relations, national unity and stability, the Western Development Strategy, moral education and cultural construction, and are intertwined with various political, economic, ethnic, and cultural issues. Their status in both domestic and international social life is continuously rising, drawing stronger and stronger attention from people. From events that have already occurred, people have felt the potential of ethnic and religious issues as a comprehensive force of both material and spiritual aspects, as well as the immense power unleashed by the interaction between ethnicity and religion. There is an urgent need to understand the history of ethnic and religious issues from multiple perspectives, reflect on their present state, and predict their future; to minimize and resolve the negative and destructive effects of various forms of ethnic and religious extremism, and guide the great potential of ethnic and religious issues toward a healthy direction that benefits humanity. Promote the study of ethnicity and religion, as well as the study of religious beliefs among China's ethnic minorities, to provide relevant academic resources and theoretical support to society; foster academic exchanges, gather talent from around the world who are committed to the study of ethnicity and religion, and enhance the status of religious beliefs among ethnic minorities in religious teaching and research fields.
