What causes necrospermia?

Patient's question:

Divorced for over a year, my wife's abdomen has been inactive. Recently, I had no choice but to undergo thorough examinations due to my parents' insistence. The doctor told me that I had developed azoospermia. I completely collapsed. How could my sexual life be normal? How could I develop azoospermia? What kind of help do you need: What causes azoospermia?

Doctor's answer:

Azoospermia refers to a condition where some semen tests show no abnormalities in sperm morphology, and the density is also within the normal range, but the majority of sperm are dead. Under normal circumstances, more than 70% of sperm capable of normal life should be present within 1 hour of ejaculation. If the proportion of dead sperm is below 40%, it can interfere with conception. Common causes of azoospermia include prolonged cold exposure (leading to an increase in the number of dead sperm and a decrease in sperm vitality), excessively high or low environmental temperatures for sperm, varicocele, infections in the reproductive tract, immune suppression, endocrine disorders, and so on.
