Can varicocele be cured?

Patient's question:

Recently, it seems like I've been experiencing some ED (Erectile Dysfunction) and PE (Premature Ejaculation). During sexual activity, I feel weak and lacking in energy, and my libido has decreased slightly. I also have frequent urination and urgency. On my scrotum, there are several prominent veins that look like small earthworms, which is very strange. I went to the hospital for a thorough examination, and the doctor said that this condition is varicocele.

Doctor's answer:

Treatment for varicocele, mild cases can be managed conservatively, which involves resting, wearing tight-fitting underwear, increasing physical activity, and taking blood-activating medications, among other measures. However, moderate to severe cases, or those accompanied by infertility or abnormal semen, require surgery. This is because varicocele obstructs blood, leading to circulatory disorders in the testicles, impairing their normal sperm production and excretion functions. Over time, this can cause the testicles to swell and lose all functionality.
