Features: This book doesn’t aim to teach you how to dress, how to wear an evening gown, or the 12 ways to style a shirt, etc. I just want to convey a perspective to those who are sensitive and passionate about fashion, those who look down on fashion, and those who approach it with trepidation. Fashion isn’t that big of a deal—really, it’s not that big of a deal. People who fear fashion are often intimidated by the long-standing and exorbitantly priced luxury brands featured in fashion magazines. As a result, they hastily assume that fashion is merely a game for a small group of wealthy individuals. Could people with such beliefs really live their lives looking disheveled? If so, that would truly be a complete tragedy—the tragedy isn’t because of her misfortune, but because it was something she could have avoided. Of course, if she understood fashion, then if you think this is alarmist, you’d be entirely mistaken. Changing a person’s destiny doesn’t it start with changing their outward appearance?
