Features: The Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province jointly hosted the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Cooperation and Exchange Conference in Hangzhou in April this year. This is a historic gathering of industry, academia, and research, a once-in-a-generation event to advance the construction of Zhejiang's advanced manufacturing base, and a practical conference dedicated to seriously implementing the Scientific Outlook on Development and thoroughly carrying out the "Eight-Eight Strategy." The conference aims to promote the integration of industry, academia, and research, enhance the technological innovation capabilities and international competitiveness of Zhejiang's manufacturing industry, and leverage the technological and talent advantages of large research institutions and famous universities, as well as the industrial and institutional strengths of Zhejiang. Through the "Three Hundreds" alignment and cooperation—connecting 100 research institutions, universities, 100 Zhejiang enterprises, and 100 cooperative projects—the conference fosters the integration of science and industry and accelerates the construction of Zhejiang's advanced manufacturing base.
To ensure the broader dissemination of the conference's intellectual achievements, we compiled and published this book over three and a half months, based on the conference proceedings, featuring over 50 papers. The book includes authoritative insights from renowned experts, valuable perspectives from relevant leaders and departments, and successful practices from leading enterprises. The purpose is to help readers understand the cutting-edge trends in modern manufacturing technology, grasp the objective laws of manufacturing industry development, and experience the vibrant practices of Zhejiang in building an advanced manufacturing base.
