Features: During a hunt for vampires, Rane encounters the beautiful female vampire Omantia and falls in love with her. He also uncovers a huge secret about his origins—Rane is the mixed-breed son of the powerful and evil vampire Pasiphon and an ordinary human man. Pasiphon is obsessed with a cruel game—enticing ordinary men to fall in love with her, bearing children with them, and then killing the father and child when the child turns thirteen. Just as Pasiphon killed Rane's father and was about to turn his sights on Rane, the Vampire Hunters' Association rescued him and raised him, training him to become an outstanding vampire hunter.
When Rane grew up, Pasiphon's sinister claws struck again, hatching a terrible plot—The descendants of the Lian vampire family, three powerful female vampires—Omantia, the goddess of ghost blood; Aesetty, the goddess of ice; and Ilina, the goddess of ghost blood, had once joined forces to seal away the fearsome vampire doctor Sita. Pasiphon's scheme was to awaken the evil Sita using the magic Rane inherited from his own lineage. To destroy Pasiphon's plot, the Vampire Hunters' Association temporarily allied with the forces of the three major vampire families to seal away Pasiphon.
