What medicine is used for balanitis?

Patient's question:

I recently noticed that the edge of my glans has very small white spots with a bit of red. Only the inner part of the glans has them. Also, the surface of the glans under the foreskin is redder than the exposed part, and it has cracks. There are also some irregularly shaped, very small, reddish patches (so small they are almost like dots, but flat). Occasionally, it itches, especially sometimes after masturbation.
Two days ago, after having sex with my girlfriend, I noticed some itching the next day, which lasted longer than usual or was more intense. Is this a sexually transmitted disease? Is it necessary to go to the hospital for a check-up?

Doctor's answer:

Circumferential Erosive Balanitis: On the glans and foreskin, erythema can be observed, gradually expanding in a ring-like pattern and forming superficial ulcers.
Acute Superficial Balanitis: Initially, local redness occurs, with the skin of the penis becoming red and swollen. The glans may feel burning and itchy. When the foreskin is retracted, erythema, erosion, and exudation on the inner surface of the foreskin and glans can be seen, even with bleeding. Secondary infection may lead to small ulcers and foul-smelling, creamy purulent discharge. Friction with underwear causes pain, and patients often experience discomfort during movement. It may be accompanied by swelling and tenderness of the inguinal lymph nodes.
