Patient's question:
The testicles are getting bigger and swollen like a ball. I'm quite concerned about my health, so I wanted to ask you how testicular cysts are formed?Doctor's answer:
A testicular cyst is one of the most common diseases in men and also a highly prevalent condition. It is very common in middle-aged adults aged 30-50. Testicular cysts are cystic and usually painless or cause mild pain. Sometimes, they are accompanied by the swelling of the scrotum, containing sperm and the testicle. They are typically found near the epididymis or on the back of the upper testicle. Testicular cysts vary greatly; some are very small, with diameters of only a few millimeters. They are non-related to the testicle, have a smooth surface, clear boundaries, and a soft texture, and can be moved quickly. If it is a long-standing cyst, it may also be quite hard, similar in hardness to the testicle or epididymis. The diet should be light and avoid spicy and irritating foods.
