Features: "Collected Works of Wei Shuzi" is a poetry and prose collection by Wei Xi, including 20 volumes of essays, 3 volumes of "Catalog," 8 volumes of poems, and nearly 33 volumes. According to the "General Rules of the Collected Works of Wei Shuzi" written by Wei Shijie, Wei Xi's other works include 1 volume of "Remnants of the Book of Documents," 10 volumes of "Zuo Zhuan Jingshi Chao," 1 volume of "Imitation of Qin's Edicts," and the remaining "Inner Books," most of which are unseen. However, the main part of Wei Xi's life's works has been included in "Tongjian" (Two Editions). "Collected Works of Wei Shuzi" was passed down through the "Complete Works of the Three Weis of Ningdu." The "Complete Works of the Three Weis of Ningdu" include 10 volumes of "Collected Works of Wei Bozi," 13 volumes of "Collected Works of Wei Shuzi," and 16 volumes of "Collected Works of Wei Jizi," totaling 59 volumes, with additional works of the younger Weis published separately. It was first printed during the Kangxi era, known as the "Yitan Collection." Wei Xi was rich in talent, knowledgeable, and wrote with great freedom, often using unconventional and challenging sentence structures, making his prose both profound and difficult to understand.
