Features: Essentially, the entire history of human civilization has gone through two stages: traditional society and modernized society. A significant feature of modernized society is that it is global rather than regional. Therefore, we cannot understand the forces shaping modern society without adopting a global perspective. At the same time, only when social movements combine with intellectual movements does it signify the arrival of a new era in human history. The constitutional democratic system marks the overall era of the transition from traditional society to modern society. As a part of this overall process, the constitutional democratic system undoubtedly follows such logic. A fundamental judgment is that modern politics is constitutional politics, and all civilized governments are constitutional governments. Of course, historically speaking, the formation of constitutions and their distinctive features emerged during the era of the birth of modern Western political civilization, which determines the significance of the development of Western constitutional politics in the constitutional history of human society.
