Features: Among the historical records of China throughout the dynasties, there are numerous ancient texts concerning Myanmar, spanning over two thousand years. These texts cover various aspects such as politics, military affairs, diplomacy, economy, society, and culture. They not only document the China-Myanmar relations of each period but also record the historical changes in Myanmar. These are important materials for studying the history of China-Myanmar relations, the history of Myanmar, and the history of frontier regions. This book selects a total of 137 ancient texts, approximately 800,000 words in total. The entire book is divided into six chapters: documents before the Tang Dynasty are combined into one chapter, while those from the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties are grouped into another chapter. The documents are primarily categorized based on their content and nature, and then arranged in chronological order for easy reference and comparison. Annotations are provided for important names, places, events, and discrepancies found in the texts. At the end of the book, a bibliography of cited works and an index of important places are included for readers' reference.
