Patient's question:
When I cry, only my mother can comfort me. May I ask, what methods should be used to treat my daughter to achieve the maximum degree of recovery? Is it hyperbaric oxygen and nerve growth factor?Doctor's answer:
Children with poor brain development exhibit various abnormal postures, poor postural stability, and awkward positions during movement or rest. Their posture is often asymmetrical on the left and right sides. In severe cases, the head cannot be held upright and centered like normal children but tends to tilt to one side or sway left and right and front and back.Intellectual and Perceptual Impairments: Among all children with poor brain development, approximately 1/4 have normal intelligence, 1/2 have mild to moderate intellectual deficits, and 1/4 have severe intellectual impairments.
Perceptual Impairments: Most patients are either hypersensitive or unresponsive to stimuli; some exhibit perceptual fixation, with disorganized backgrounds and shapes.
