Research on Zhou, Qin, Han, and Tang Cultures (Volume 2)

Author: Huang Liuzhu et al.
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2003-11-01
Features: As one of the many academic journals published in book form, this journal, despite various complex reasons, cannot yet be indexed or cited like journals with official publication numbers. However, we are pleased to see that it has gained considerable popularity and acclaim among academic peers. Some of its content has even been excerpted by authoritative abstract journals, generating positive social impact. These achievements are deeply gratifying to us as editors. A successful and influential academic journal primarily depends on its academic quality, as well as its unique characteristics. Its reputation should naturally emerge through practical publishing efforts. Artificially constructed or commercially hyped fame may rise to prominence for a time, but ultimately, it is like a rabbit's tail—it cannot last.
We publish the annual Journal of Zhou, Qin, Han, and Tang Culture neither for fame nor profit, but simply to contribute our modest efforts to advancing academic endeavors. Our goal is to use this journal as a focal point, gradually forming an academic community or school composed of sincere scholars who are unswayed by fame and dedicated to learning. Through their continuous academic activities, we aim to make Xi'an—the ancient capital of Zhou, Qin, Han, and Tang dynasties—not only a genuine academic research center in western China but also a global academic hub for the study of these civilizations.
