In a word, modernity is not solely the domain of "capitalism"; it can also belong to "socialism." The successful reality of socialist modernization in China calls on Chinese anthropologists to go to the field, to society, and to the people. By summarizing the successful practices and theories of socialist construction in China from the objective laws of human social development, we can make our due scientific contributions to promoting the common prosperity and progress of all ethnic groups in our country. Then, Chinese anthropology will have great potential and hope, which is also the future of Chinese anthropology that Professor Liang Zhaotao looked forward to in his lifetime.
