Features: "Corporate Governance of Small and Medium Enterprises in Hunan and Its Alignment with EU Enterprises" is part of the "China-EU Small Project Facilitation Fund (SPF) (2001-2005)," an aid project initiated by the European Commission aimed at "promoting China's reform process and further integrating it into the global economy." Led by Professor Ouyang Yao of Hunan University of Commerce, the project was jointly undertaken by experts and scholars from Hunan University of Commerce and the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce. Based on research, exchanges, and training conducted in collaboration with EU and Hunan enterprises, the project draws on the successful experiences of EU small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in corporate governance to advance the internationalization of SME corporate governance in Hunan. This series is a theoretical outcome of investigative research, revealing the universality and uniqueness of SME corporate governance from perspectives such as EU insights, Chinese pathways, Hunan strategies, and the framework of theory and practice. It analyzes issues in SME corporate governance in China and Hunan, proposing ideas and measures to improve SME governance. The publication of the "China-EU SME Corporate Governance Series" marks a new frontier in corporate governance research by Chinese scholars, creating innovative achievements with significant theoretical and practical value.
