Will a small infant's hernia heal on its own?

Patient's question:

I recently don't know what's wrong with my lower body, it's very uncomfortable, and I'm not getting morning erections anymore. Can infant hernia heal on its own?

Doctor's answer:

Hydrocele is a common congenital inflammation in the inguinal region of children. The recurrence of hydrocele is caused by developmental abnormalities or prolonged crying. Hydrocele can move freely in and out, generally posing no significant harm. Within the age of 2, there is a possibility of hydrocele self-healing. If the child is under 2 years old and has not formed a scar, surgical treatment is preferably recommended. This is because once hydrocele becomes incarcerated, it is most prone to recurrence of suppuration, and may even endanger the child's life.
