One day, seven fairies came to the garden to pick immortal peaches for the Peach Banquet, but they accidentally woke up Sun Wukong. The Jade Emperor hurriedly called upon Buddha for help. In the end, Wukong couldn't escape Buddha's grasp and was subdued by him, pressed under the Five Elements Mountain.
