The twenty-six volumes of "Conglu" and the ten volumes of "Yulu" were compiled by Wu Zhenyu of the Qing Dynasty. Wu Zhenyu (1792-1870), styled Zhongyun and styled Yifu, was from Qiantang, Zhejiang. His study was named Huanyangjizhai. He passed the imperial examination in the 19th year of the Jiaqing reign and was appointed as a compiler in the Hanlin Academy. He once served as a compiler, supervisor, and proofreader in the Imperial Edicts Compilation Office. His works include "Flower Pavilion Poetry and Lyrics," "Guizhou Language," "Guizhou Journey Records," and "Collected Poems of Hangzhou in the Qing Dynasty." Huanyangjizhai Conglu is one of his most diligent and dedicated works. This book primarily focuses on institutional systems, supplemented by the palaces, halls, gardens, and courtyards of the imperial court, as well as interesting anecdotes, imperial examinations, military affairs, food and clothing, book collections, and entertainment celebrations. It provides a relatively comprehensive depiction of the Qing court. The ten volumes of "Yulu" not only supplement imperial court anecdotes but also record the customs of Sichuan and Yunnan, famous scenic spots in various regions, literary tales, and elegant discussions among scholars. The entire book is of great reference value for understanding and researching the social, political, historical, and cultural aspects of the Qing Dynasty.
