Features: The book is organized around the theme of "Transforming Conception into Wisdom," dividing the study of the Tsinghua School into three parts. Part I is a general introduction to the Tsinghua School. In Part II, the philosophical thought and historical evolution of the Tsinghua School will be examined and discussed, with a particular focus on the relationship between the Tsinghua School and empiricism. Part III is a study of some representative figures and their thoughts within the 20th-century Chinese philosophical school of Modern Neo-Confucianism. The inclusion of these studies on Modern Neo-Confucianism is intended to provide a reference framework for the Tsinghua School. As mentioned above, in the history of 20th-century Chinese philosophy, the concern with the issue of "Transforming Conception into Wisdom" was not limited to the Tsinghua School. Beyond the Tsinghua School, Modern Neo-Confucianism also engaged in unique and innovative thinking on this issue. However, the way Modern Neo-Confucianism approached "Transforming Conception into Wisdom" differed significantly from that of the Tsinghua School. If the Tsinghua School's reflections on this issue were influenced by Kant, then the Modern Neo-Confucianism's reflections were anti-Kantian or entirely non-Kantian. Therefore, using Modern Neo-Confucianism as a point of comparison not only demonstrates that there were two distinct types of thought on "Transforming Conception into Wisdom" in the history of 20th-century Chinese philosophy but also shows that both types were related to Kantian philosophy.
