Features: A prestigious humanities and social sciences research journal with the primary purpose of promoting the essence of traditional culture and fostering the prosperity of modern academia—Jiu Zhou Xue Lin. Co-published by Fudan University Press and the China Culture Center at City University of Hong Kong in both simplified and traditional Chinese versions, it is launched simultaneously in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and overseas. The establishment of this journal is the result of the joint revival and merger of the original Xue Shu Ji Lin from Shanghai and Jiu Zhou Xue Kan from Hong Kong. In the 1970s and 1980s, both journals were renowned for their refined and pure academic standards both domestically and internationally. This initiative was proposed by Mr. Wang Yuanhua and Mr. Zhu Weizheng, who were the original editors of Xue Shu Ji Lin, and after discussions with Mr. Zheng Peikai, the original editor-in-chief of Jiu Zhou Xue Kan and now the Director of the China Culture Center at City University of Hong Kong, it was agreed that both parties shared the same vision.
