How should impotence be treated?

Patient's question:

I'm quite disgusted by sexual intercourse, but now I don't dare. The first time I had sex with my girlfriend, I experienced premature ejaculation. I want to ask how premature ejaculation is treated now.

Doctor's answer:

Normal sexual intercourse shortens erection time and controls ejaculation through special training after achieving good sexual responses during genital training. Formal sexual intercourse can be implemented, preferably in the woman-on-top position. Start slowly, focusing attention on sexual fantasies and the sensations of the genital organs, gradually increasing friction. When nearing the sensation of ejaculation, immediately stop the stimulating motion and wait until the sensation fades before resuming friction. Alternatively, when nearing the sensation of ejaculation, withdraw the penis, apply the Squeeze technique, and wait until the sensation disappears before resuming intercourse. After 2–3 such trainings, natural ejaculation can be achieved.
If the patient has severe premature ejaculation after 1 week of training, it is recommended to seek timely symptomatic treatment. The patient is advised to follow the doctor's guidance for appropriate treatment while also emphasizing self-care, maintaining a balanced diet, and avoiding worsening the condition.
