Features: The Newly Discovered Lu Xun delves into the depths of Lu Xun's inner world from the perspective of human nature (the desire for food and sex), exploring the trajectory of Lu Xun's thoughts described as "volcanic fire running underground." The book briefly analyzes Lu Xun's subconscious (sexual repression) and subtext (thoughts on changing his arranged marriage, yearning for love, and remorse for his wife Zhu An) hidden in his works such as Wild Grass, The Diary of a Madman, Blessings, At the Wine Shop, The Solitary, What Happened After Nora Left, and Written After the Tomb. The book focuses on analyzing the pamphlet Wild Grass. In my opinion, most of the articles in Wild Grass are related to Lu Xun's suffering from his arranged marriage. Due to reservations, he found it difficult to speak directly and expressed himself through oblique means. Lu Xun was very skilled at using oblique expressions, which created significant difficulties in understanding the original intent of his works. Additionally, due to China's traditional cultural custom of avoiding mentioning the faults of the respected, the study of Lu Xun's works inevitably created numerous blind spots. To fully and correctly understand Lu Xun, one must overcome these two obstacles. Otherwise, Lu Xun studies—using Lu Xun's own expression—would only find themselves in a situation where, upon waking, there is no way forward. This book is merely a small flower that blooms on the side of the () of Lu Xun studies.
