What is urethral stricture prostatitis?

Patient's question:

A while ago, I carefully checked and found that I had chronic prostatitis. The doctor told me to get treated and avoid sexual activity. Last week, I couldn't resist and had sex with my wife. But after having sex, I noticed discomfort in my lower body and discovered that my urine was split when I went to the bathroom.

Doctor's answer:

Because prostatitis is the most common disease among adult males, accounting for approximately 1/3 to 1/2 of patients in traditional Chinese medicine urology clinics, it is clinically diagnosed as either acute prostatitis or chronic prostatitis, with chronic prostatitis being the most prevalent. This condition can recur at any age in adult males, rarely occurring before puberty but more frequently affecting men aged 20-40. Approximately 35% to 40% of individuals over the age of 35 suffer from this condition. Prostatitis not only leads to symptoms such as damp scrotum and urine splitting in male genital organs but also commonly causes sexual dysfunction, including reduced libido, premature ejaculation, frequent nocturnal emissions, hematospermia, and painful ejaculation.
