Boat on Land (A Travel Diary of a Photographer)

Features: This is a travel diary of a photographer. Both domestic and international destinations are included. It contains many photos taken by the author in person. Through these words and photos, we can fully appreciate the local customs, cultures, and beautiful scenery of the places the author has visited. One winter, while waiting for my flight back home at the beautiful hotel Le Meridien Wien A+T in Vienna, I came across a brochure from the hotel. It had a sentence that said: "Life is like a book. If you never step out of your house, you will always stay on the same page." I have captured the smiles of children from different ethnic backgrounds in countless corners of the world. These children, no matter where they are, seem to be different faces of the same angel. I love seeing these smiles of angels. To me, they are the basic components of a good life, a good antidote to the frustrating other half of life. Life is like a journey, and the most interesting part often lies in the detour. A detour is a handwritten annotation added to the printed, conventional text of life, which reveals the quality and charm of the journey. This is a travel diary of a photographer.
