What causes prostate disease

Patient's question:

My colleague recently said that he felt uncomfortable between his legs, but he is also very clean. He doesn't know why he got such a strange disease. I asked him if he was doing something he didn't want to do. He said, "It's just that recently, he was looking for friends to satisfy his physiological needs." What are the reasons that lead to prostatitis?

Doctor's answer:

Prostate diseases that recur at different times are also different. In old age, testicular function atrophies, hormone levels decline, and the incidence of prostatitis increases, while the incidence of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) decreases significantly. Autopsy findings reveal that 50% of people aged 51–60 have pathological prostatic hyperplasia, and by the age of 80, 90% have it. Another common elderly disease is prostate cancer. This disease has a high incidence rate in Western countries, while its incidence rate in China is relatively low but has been rapidly increasing in recent years.
