Features: This case study is divided into twelve chapters, each focusing on different aspects of governance and statecraft, including ruling philosophy, system building, rule of law, managing the market economy, grassroots democracy and social autonomy, party politics, central-local relations, ethnic and religious issues, power restriction and supervision, power operation mechanisms, public crisis management, and respecting and protecting human rights. The selection criteria are primarily based on the five capabilities proposed in the "Decision of the CPC Central Committee on Strengthening the Party's Governance Capacity and Construction," covering all major aspects of the ruling party's governance. During the case selection process, we made every effort to broaden the scope of countries and regions. We focused on selecting typical cases of governance from ruling parties in developed countries that have universal significance, while also paying attention to successful cases from ruling parties in developing countries. Special emphasis was given to cases from transitional countries and Asian nations that are similar to China's development status.
