I'm not sure if I belong to premature ejaculation

Patient's question:

During coitus, if enduring a short duration by thrusting in and out in a back-and-forth motion, but sometimes being able to make the female enjoy it by using other methods to increase friction on the penis, does this count as premature ejaculation? I feel my glans is quite sensitive. I'm not sure if I fall under the category of premature ejaculation.

Doctor's answer:

In clinical diagnosis, sexual activity duration of more than five minutes to around half an hour is considered normal, while less than five minutes is termed premature ejaculation. Premature ejaculation is a sexual dysfunction, and the causes of sexual dysfunction include several factors, such as neurovascular factors, endocrine factors, and also organic factors: primarily due to chronic inflammatory diseases such as prostatitis, seminal vesiculitis, posterior urethritis, and bulbourethral glanditis. Long-term intercourse, among other factors, may also lead to sexual dysfunction. Additionally, changes in neuropathology or other genital inflammatory conditions, such as a short frenulum, can cause pain during penile erection, resulting in sexual dysfunction.
