Features: Plant physiology is the science that studies the laws and mechanisms of plant life activities. Plant physiology, together with meteorology, soil and fertilizer science, botany, genetics and breeding, etc., constitutes the basic theoretical foundation of plant cultivation. Therefore, plant physiology is the theoretical basis for disciplines such as landscape tree science, landscape seedling support science, flower cultivation science, and greening construction and maintenance. Almost all cultivation and maintenance measures will affect the physiological activities and functions of plants. For example, to implement reasonable water and fertilizer management for landscape plants, it is necessary to understand the laws and influencing factors of plants' water and fertilizer requirements. Only then can appropriate environmental conditions be created to facilitate plant growth and development. Similarly, to promote and control plant flowering, it is essential to have knowledge of the factors that induce flowering. This enables the adoption of appropriate cultivation measures to achieve the goal of controlling flowering periods.
