Ejaculating after only 2 minutes of masturbation is it premature ejaculation?

Patient's question:

I am 17 years old and have had some instances of nocturnal emissions before, but because I was unaware in my sleep, I don't know how long they lasted. The other day, when I had sex with myself, I came in just two minutes. If I came in two minutes at 17, is that premature ejaculation? My God, it couldn't be premature ejaculation, could it? I'm only 17. Should it be like this?

Doctor's answer:

The duration of sexual intercourse cannot be trusted as evidence of premature ejaculation. Due to the individual's strong sexual stimulation and fantasies, it may lead to rapid ejaculation again. This does not necessarily mean it is premature ejaculation. A diagnosis of premature ejaculation is based on the duration of sexual activity. You currently need to abstain from sexual intercourse to prevent the penis from becoming overly sensitive. If sexual activity remains consistently less than two minutes in the future, how can it be considered premature ejaculation? You can use some desensitizing creams for treatment.
