Kikko Kawauchi Biography
· Born in Nagoya City, Japan, in 1937
· Graduated from the Department of Architecture, Nagoya Institute of Technology
· Obtained a master's degree from the School of Science and Engineering, Waseda University, and completed doctoral studies
· Currently a member of: Japan Institute of Architects, Japan Association of Architects, Japan Industrial Design Association, Japan Cultural Design Conference, Japan Design Committee, etc.
· Leads: Kikko Kawauchi Architectural Design Office, DESIGNTOPE Co., Ltd., Kinc Co., Ltd.
· Representative of the Materia Research Institute
· Professor at Kanazawa College of Art and Craft, Graduate School of Art and Craft
· Lecturer at the Graduate School of Art and Design, Nihon University
· Awarded multiple prizes, including the Daily Design Award, German IF Award, and G Mark Gold Award
· His works are collected by museums such as the Museum of Modern Art, New York, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, and the Denver Art Museum.
