Patient's question:
Where is the prostate located in general? Can you perform a massage at home?Doctor's answer:
Before performing massage on the prostate, the local area should be cleaned to prevent bacteria from being pushed into the rectum during the massage, which may lead to symptoms of prostatitis. Local massage therapy can be performed at home, or by massaging various acupoints on the abdomen and perineum with hands, which can effectively alleviate symptoms. Prostate massage can also be performed repeatedly through the rectum, and regular massage of the prostate can effectively promote the excretion of prostatic fluid.
