Features: Military science is a knowledge system that reflects the laws of war and the laws of war guidance, used to guide national defense and military construction, war preparation, and implementation. In this system, it not only includes numerous disciplines such as military thought, military academia, military technology, military history, and military geography but also becomes increasingly closely linked with fields such as politics, economy, diplomacy, and science and technology as the scope and content of military science continue to expand. Therefore, military science is a highly interdisciplinary subject within the social sciences, serving as a vast treasure trove of knowledge. Integrating national defense education into the legal framework and including it in the teaching plans of ordinary universities is a strategic decision made by the state, benefiting the nation, the military, and the people. From a certain perspective, national defense education is both a military course and a political course, with its prominent feature being the transmission of military knowledge and the implementation of national defense education. National defense education is an objective requirement for fully implementing the educational principles of the Party, advancing quality-oriented education, and cultivating socialist new people with ideals, morality, culture, and discipline. It plays an irreplaceable role in the moral education of schools. It can inspire young students to care about national defense and love their country, striving for the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and it is also an important measure to train a large number of high-quality reserve personnel for national defense and military construction.
