Features: Couplets are widely cherished for their exquisite form, all-encompassing content, and endless charm. They are a unique cultural treasure of the Chinese nation and a rare bloom in artistic gardens, enjoyed by both the refined and the common. The compilers of this book, from the vibrant and flourishing garden of "couplet phrases" (lianyu), have collected the essence through a "collection" method, focusing on eight aspects: rhetorical riddles, aphorisms and dedications, seasonal and birthday couplets, and examination couplets. These selected treasures are woven together into the series "Essence Collection of Couplets" in the form of "couplet discussions" (lianhua). The book strives for innovative arrangements and unique perspectives, aiming to establish a close connection between couplets and every person in society, every day in life, and every task in practice, as well as every occasion within time. Thus, it possesses originality, knowledge, interest, and practicality, truly helping to enlighten the mind, delight the eyes, express emotions, and inspire oneself and others. It further offers genuine insights, beneficial enlightenment, and beautiful imagination. This volume is titled "Examination Couplets and Their Fascinating Aspects" from the "Essence Collection of Couplets."
