Features: From working in government agencies to now engaging in corporate human resource management, it has been nearly eight years. This is a significant transition in my career. During this professional journey, I am grateful for the blessings of fate in this new era and for choosing the path of human resource management, which is full of challenges and dreams. Over these years, due to the long-term transformation and tremendous development of the economy, profound changes have occurred in human resource management in Chinese enterprises and even globally. Although Chinese enterprises have emerged in a prosperous era, the challenges they face in corporate management, especially in human resource management, have become increasingly severe after breaking through technological barriers. Due to the intense competition for talent domestically, developing Chinese enterprises are simultaneously struggling with the dual issues of talent selection and retention. Human resources are the primary issue that most Chinese enterprises need to address today. Chinese enterprises that have come through the 20th century have all experienced a process of rapid growth from small to large, and one of the key competitive advantages they have established while competing for market share is the development of a human resource system. Excellent domestic enterprises, such as Haier, Huawei, ZTE, Lenovo, TCL,, Vanke, as well as multinational companies like Procter & Gamble, Kodak, IBM, Dell, Amway, Intel, LG, etc., in addition to their substantial financial and technological resources and strong strategic marketing capabilities, possess intangible capabilities—namely, the full dedication of employees to the company and a spirit of contribution that goes beyond contractual obligations. The strategic perspectives on gaining employee loyalty discussed in this book are a joint discovery by me and my partners. We wrote this book simply to share some of our insights with our peers and hope it can serve as a stone dropped into the water to provoke further discussion. Most of the cases and materials cited in this book are from publicly available media to further illustrate the relevant viewpoints. Of course, given the vastness of human resource management and corporate management theories, there are still many areas in the book that require deeper exploration. Due to the limitations of the topic, some aspects have not been elaborated on. If readers are interested, they can refer to relevant materials.
