Features: Criminal law is undoubtedly a relatively mature discipline in China's legal field, and its research theories have undoubtedly paved the way for the development of criminal theory degrees in China, leading to the emergence of criminal procedure law, penology, and criminal execution law. However, due to the influence of traditional concepts, the emphasis on criminal trials while neglecting criminal execution remains highly influential. In China, although criminal execution and the reform of criminals have achieved great success historically, they have not gained the social status they deserve in the legal system. As a result, the execution of penalties, which should be the ultimate means of achieving goals, is placed in a very difficult position. This book focuses on studying the universal social phenomena of criminal execution and summarizes theoretical and practical issues such as the development of Chinese prison management thought, reforms in the prison management system, and innovations in prison management systems. It proposes insights such as purifying the state's criminal execution function and establishing new concepts of state prison execution, representing a new exploration. The title of this book is "Criminal Execution Studies," aiming to study the social phenomenon of criminal execution from a broader sociological perspective. However, due to limited conditions, many omissions exist. Fortunately, with the help of many colleagues, I overcame difficulties and completed the manuscript. During the writing of this book, I was greatly supported by the leadership and colleagues of Shaanxi Police Vocational College. Here, I sincerely express my gratitude!
