Author: (German) Fox
Publisher:
Publishing Date: 2006-10-01
Features: This book has received widespread acclaim from readers since its first edition in 1994. The Chinese readers are now presented with its fifth edition from 2004. The author has timely supplemented and improved previous editions based on new research findings and case law in each revision. Therefore, the book basically reflects the current state of theory and practice in German tort law. However, due to space limitations, some issues in the book are only briefly mentioned without in-depth discussion. For issues that are not elaborated on, the author has indicated references such as books and articles for further reading. Additionally, to assist Chinese readers, the translator has included a number of "Translator's Notes" where necessary. These notes mainly cover two aspects: one is the selection of relevant legal provisions to reduce the inconvenience of reference for readers, and the other is explanatory notes for issues that may not be familiar to some Chinese readers.
