Value Theory of Law (Second Edition)

Features: The value goals of law are extremely diverse. Compared to the previous edition of this book, this edition has removed discussions on utility, civilization, democracy, the rule of law, reason, and rights, and has revised the previous discussion on justice to one on fairness. This does not mean that these deleted or revised value goals are no longer value goals. These goals should always be the pursuit of legal values. It is only because I believe that the fundamental value goals of law should be more closely aligned with the subject of legal values, which is human beings. This book attempts to recognize the value of law by taking humans as a stricter starting point, destination, and center. This is why there is an effort to list the value of life as one of the value goals, and why changes have been made to not discuss value goals that are slightly removed from the subject in particular. This book is still not my complete understanding of the value of law. It is merely a record of my more authentic understanding of the value of law, and I hope it can better reflect my understanding of the value of law.
