Features: As another unique case of currency internationalization, the internationalization of the RMB is still in its early stages. The analysis of the internationalization of the RMB in this book is merely a preliminary exploration. Existing research is not yet deep enough, so the issue of RMB internationalization awaits further in-depth exploration. Our research must both draw on and follow the development experience and patterns of currencies that have already been internationalized, while also discovering new problems and summarizing new experiences and patterns of currency internationalization for a developing major economy and a transitional economy moving from a planned to a market-based system as the RMB internationalization progresses.
