How to interpret a routine prostatic fluid test?

Patient's question:

Doctor, I personally am not very interested in medicine and don't understand much about it. But I feel that it's not okay to continue like this. As a person, one should know some basic medical knowledge. I would like to ask how to read a routine prostatic fluid test?

Doctor's answer:

The level of spermatozoa in prostatic fluid reflects prostatitis. Under normal conditions, red blood cells are basically absent, and white blood cell levels only increase during inflammation. The higher the value, the more severe the inflammation. pH value, acid phosphatase, citrate, and leucine aminopeptidase reflect internal components and are not of great significance. Protease and fibrinolysin, to some extent, affect fertility, but the most important factor is still the inflammation indicators.
